    title: gasp. politics.
    time: 1:57 AM
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i actually watched the whole hillary clinton concession speech thing.
    pretty amazing huh.
nick definitely was. his answer to me telling him what i was doing instead of watching Euros Open (which he has got me to support Spain since England's not in. sobs. and i would, because a bunch of Liverpool players are from there.) was something like...
    "Jan, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"

*lol. no one ever thinks i'd be bothered with politics.
especially since it's not about my country. i dont think i even ever heard a speech by mahathir or badawi. lol
and no one thinks i even open and read the newspaper. especially the political and economical columns.
    well, its pretty... true.
i actually hardly read the newspaper or watch the news.
because honestly, sometimes i think they're just too sad.
too many problems in the world and all that crap.
like seriously, no wonder the adults keep saying "Jesus is coming back."
i think i've heard that since i was like, 2?
then again, i think somewhere in the bible stated that a day in heaven could be a thousand days on earth. or something like that at least.
oh well, we'd never know. =)

    so anyway!
2 statements (may not be exact) that pretty much resonated with me of hillary clinton was these:-
    1. "Every second we take to look back at the past, keeps us from moving forward."
    *
isn't that just totally true? be it the way some people look down on themselves because of their past and having that as a shadow in their lives. people not forgiving themselves or not forgiving others and hindering themselves from moving on with life. well, stuff like that. thought it was totally relevant.

    2. "We (women) may not have broken the glass ceiling this time round, but it’s got about 18 million cracks in it and the light is shining through.”

*like, AMEN. had a surge of GIRL POWER when she said that. =) and hey, i'm learning about glass ceilings in my human resources. well, boo discrimination of all kind!

*well, you'd think i was a clinton fan.
    i was actually supporting obama.
okay. i think i was more like neutral.
after seeing hillary clinton on ELLEN DEGENERES!
have i mentioned ELLEN ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF?
    answer: yes. a million times.
    toodles!
PS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICTORIA & KARINA!
